Business Development Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new business opportunities
- Build and maintain a solid sales pipeline to sustain monthly targets
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Plan, develop and implement a sales plan and strategy
- Reporting – sales activity and opportunity progression reported on a weekly basis to Management
- Identify, develop and close sales opportunities to achieve monthly / quarterly / annual targets
- Explore opportunities for greater penetration into other parts of a client’s business and group of companies and or subsidiaries.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and client relationships- building M.Tech’s brand
- Present and create awareness of the organisation’s products portfolio
- Build and grow your network and relationships by attending face to face meetings, conferences, networking events
REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical background or good understanding across a broad range of technologies
- Passionate about innovative and market-leading technologies
- Motivated and keen to win business
- Genuine ability to listen and understand client requirements
- Outcome and solutions focused
- Great network of connects you can leverage
- Tertiary qualifications
- Applicants without this educational qualification may still apply but they must have at least 3-5 years’ of relevant experience in the IT industry
- Proven track record in IT sales within a similar role
- Maintain responsibility for profitable growth within the partner portfolio, develop partner sales and grow revenue.
- Independent and motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, team building and logical thinking
- Australian residency, citizenship or a valid working visa
- Sydney based (face to face meetings with clients in the future)
